Community Involvement

At Park Bench Chiropractic we believe that it is important to be a part of the community and to help improve the lives of the citizens of Frederick by participating in various events and fundraisers.

Toys for Tots - The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
Mud Dog Run - The Mud Dog Run is a fun, high intensity, obstacle course run around one of Frederick, Maryland's most beautiful farms.
The Big Sweep - HandsOn Frederick County’s Big Sweep enables citizens in the community to raise money for their cause of interest while participating in a beautification day.
Cupcake Run/Walk 5K - The Sweetest Race in Town - Help us stir the spirit of the community at this event to benefit Cakes for Cause!
The Convoy of Hope - At Convoy of Hope our goals are to provide help and hope to people in need in the United States and around world through our children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, disaster response and partner resourcing.
Complimentary Care for Recent Veterans - Our office is proud to participate in an International Chiropractors Association program where we provide free care to veterans who have served abroad since 9/11. Frederick is home to many current and former military servicemembers, and to recognize their hard work and show our appreciation we provide 12 months of complimentary chiropractic care.

War Against Illiteracy - During February and March of 2012 we collected children's books and visited local elementary schools and read to children. Thanks to all patients who brought books in and to the classrooms who let us come in and read to them.
